Grocery Store Hello
Why is it that everyone smiles more, says hello
more & seems kinder during the holidays?
I don't want to sound like a grinch, but commmeee on.
Why do hearts & gestures grown during November & December?
And don't get me wrong, I am right along everyone else
with the bigger smile and the overly "thank you's" to the
grocery store clerks and dry cleaning crew.
It's "the most wonderful time of the year" they say.
I'm not practicing what I'm about to preach but can't
we do the things we do during the most wonderful time of the year year round?
If we have the ability to bring it out for a month or two, can't we
extend that time a bit more?
I'm going to try, maybe you will too?
